For supply chain, procurement and ops leaders

Supply Chain Data Integration

Purchase orders, ship notices, stock and invoices that flow between you, your suppliers and your carriers without anyone retyping them.

Supply chain data integration connects your ERP and warehouse with your suppliers and carriers, so a purchase order becomes a ship notice, a receipt and an invoice on its own. You know what's arriving and when. And your buyers stop spending their mornings on the phone asking.

Book a call and we'll send a 1-page plan. We start with one partner and one document flow.

The problem

Your buyers know more from phone calls than from your ERP

The supplier emails a PDF. Someone types it into the ERP. The ship notice comes as a spreadsheet, with item codes that don't match yours. The truck shows up a day early, short two pallets, and the invoice charges for all of them.

So people fix it by hand. Every day.

What retyping and chasing costs per year

Count everyone who copies orders, checks ship notices or matches invoices by hand. Chargebacks come on top.

How it works

Follow one order from PO to payment

Each step is a document, and each document has a standard code (X12 in the US). Integration means every step lands in your systems on its own, and gets checked against the one before it.

  1. 01850 → 855

    Order and confirm

Your ERP sends the purchase order. The supplier confirms quantities and dates, or flags a change.
  2. 02856 (ASN)

    Ship notice

Before the truck leaves, the supplier says what's on it, carton by carton. We check it against the PO.
  3. 03214 + receipt

    Track and receive

Carrier status updates your ETA. The warehouse scans the cartons and records what really arrived.
  4. 04810

    Invoice and match

PO, receipt and invoice get matched automatically. Only the mismatches go to a person.

The boring data that breaks everything

  • Item codes. Your SKU, their part number and the customer's item number all need a cross-reference.
  • Units of measure. You buy by the case of 12, they invoice per each.
  • Location IDs. Ship-to codes for every dock and store. One wrong code and the ASN goes to the wrong building (yes, really).
  • Dates and time zones, especially across the US–Mexico border.

Proof

We've joined messy data before

Our shipped project is on the factory side of the chain. Different documents, same hard part: making records from different systems agree on what's what.

A mid-sized manufacturer had data from 50 sensors and 10,000+ rows of maintenance history spread across sheets and systems. We pulled it into one place, trained 3 models to spot failures early, and gave the team one dashboard with alerts.

The plan

Your first 6 weeks

  1. 01Week 1

    Pick the flow

One partner, one document (often the ASN or the invoice). Collect 50–100 real examples.
  2. 02Weeks 2–3

    Map and build

Translate, cross-reference item and unit codes, set the matching rules.
  3. 03Week 4

    Run side by side

The new flow runs next to the manual one. We compare every document.
  4. 04Weeks 5–6

    Switch over

Manual entry stops for that flow. Exceptions go to one screen with a clear reason.
